Welcome to the Prudence Island Water District Web Site

Although we've had a very mild winter so far, we New Englanders know that the weather can change radically in a matter of minutes. PIWD reminds its customers to shut down their water service and drain their pipes if they plan to be away for any significant amount of time.

The district's fiscal year closed on September 30, 2011. The approved budget for 2012 is available for viewing at this link.

Martha Fuller

Board Member

Martha Fuller and her husband Herb have been devoted Prudence Islanders in spirit for over 30 years, and are now happily able to enjoy the island, and participate in its life, on a full-time basis.

Martha has served on the boards of many non-profits over the years, and looks forward to learning about, and contributing to, the workings of the Prudence Island Water District.

The next Board of Directors meeting will be held March 3, 2012, 1 p.m. at the Prudence Island Fire Station.
